TV Test Pattern T-Shirt

I love the TV test pattern shirt, I actually can still remember the very first one I saw years ago - it was purple with the well known test pattern across it.   The person who was wearing it had been given it as a gift so he didn't know where I could get one.

A few years passed before a funny television show about a few geeks hit television sets around the world - I'm talking about The Big Bang Theory.   When the main character - Sheldon - was seen wearing a television test pattern shirt on an episode you could suddenly find them available again.

Unfortunately I was unable to find one that was in my size at the local mall, but fortunately there are lots of places to find the shirt online like the one above.

I'm not sure exactly what it is that is so appealing about the shirt, there's just something very retro about it.   Now if only I could find one that shows the girl that used to appear on British televisions as one of the test patterns, thanks to Google I've discovered that this was called BBC Test Card F, then I'd be very happy.

The closest I've been able to get is this one here, which is pretty good -

It's hard to believe that there really was a time when television wasn't being aired 24 hours a day and as always we look back to these times through the rose tinted glasses that time and nostalgia combine to give us and it brings a smile to our faces - that is why we love t-shirts like this.    That and the fact that they are also considered to be geek shirts now and geek = hot at the moment.

Sheldon has certainly been responsible for making a number of t-shirts more easily attainable these days and if you're after some cool t-shirts from the show then check out these links -

Angry Birds T-Shirts

Looking for an Angry Birds T-Shirt? Well I have a few for you so let's start looking at them -

Buy This Allposters.com A is for Anger is a pretty good logo for these birds because they are the Angry Birds!

You see the Pigs have stolen their eggs and so they have to destroy the pigs which is where you come in.............if you haven't played Angry Birds before you're probably wondering what I'm going on about.
In the popular game you basically have to catapult the Angry Birds so that they destroy all of the pigs (or monkeys depending on which Angry Birds game you have).

Angry Birds have become huge, the premise of the game is very simple and yet somehow it's touched gamers in a way that similar games such as Crush the Castle have been unable to which has resulted in a range of different Angry Birds merchandise including some awesome Angry Birds t-shirts.

The Seven Dwarfs T-Shirts

Get a Cool Disney Seven Dwarfs T Shirt Here! The Seven Dwarfs Pyramid ShirtsSnow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a classic disney movie and is known the world over. Why not celebrate your love of this Disney movie by wearing a Seven Dwarfs shirt with pride. Snow White was one of my daughter's favorite Disney Princess, but I think the Seven Dwarfs were the stars of the movie - "Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to work we go......."I can still remember watching this movie at the cinema and seeing as my parents weren't even around when this movie was first released in the thirties it was obviously one of the re-releases that was playing. I know I was with my younger brother, mum and nan (it's the only time I can remember going to the movies with my nan) so it was probably the 1975 release. Whichever one it was I remember loving it and singing the 'Heigh ho' song constantly for weeks afterwards! Now can you name all seven? It's okay there's always one that elud…
