Not Even Owl T-Shirt - Another Kiwiana Shirt

I've just got back from three weeks in NZ which means I've heard all of the usual sayings including one of my niece's current favorite - 'not even owl'.   I must admit that I don't particularly like this saying when my hubby uses it on occasion (especially after spending time with fellow Kiwis), but out of a young girls mouth I thought it sounded really cute!

If you love the Kiwi saying - Not even owl - then I hope you'll enjoy this take on it -

I love the use of the owl picture instead of the word - it brings a smile to my face when I look at it.   I'm thinking that I'll probably be buying a basic kids t-shirt with this design on it for Christmas this year, I'm sure my niece will love it.

  2. I always thought it was an 'older' expression as hubby and his friends use it so I had thought it had a Billy T vibe to it, but then my niece was using it recently so I'll have to stop thinking hubby's a dinosaur!!!!

Angry Birds T-Shirts

Looking for an Angry Birds T-Shirt? Well I have a few for you so let's start looking at them - Buy This Allposters.com A is for Anger is a pretty good logo for these birds because they are the Angry Birds! You see the Pigs have stolen their eggs and so they have to destroy the pigs which is where you come in.............if you haven't played Angry Birds before you're probably wondering what I'm going on about. In the popular game you basically have to catapult the Angry Birds so that they destroy all of the pigs (or monkeys depending on which Angry Birds game you have). Angry Birds have become huge, the premise of the game is very simple and yet somehow it's touched gamers in a way that similar games such as Crush the Castle have been unable to which has resulted in a range of different Angry Birds merchandise including some awesome Angry Birds t-shirts. Tees with Memories

I was very lucky a few weeks ago to find a Born in the USA t-shirt, it was totally unexpected as I was actually looking through some cheap, I mean economically sensible, shirts for hubby when I spotted it.   Apparently my eyes lit up so hubby had to say those words we all love to hear - "Buy it!" I used to love Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA album and would play it constantly as a teen.   I was very considerate towards my family by the way - I always made sure that the record player ( yes, the album was on vinyl) was turned up loud so that they could all enjoy the Boss belting out his songs! Buying the t-shirt brought back lots of memories and isn't it great that a simple piece of clothing could do that?   That is the beauty of t-shirts, you can wear them in comfort while reliving past memories.   March 21st is National Memory Day so why don't you celebrate the day by wearing a tee that brings back memories for you? My hubby was looking for Bluto t-s

Guinness T-Shirts

I Love Wearing a Guinness T-Shirt! Guinness T-Shirt A Guinness t-shirt is my favorite type of Guinness clothing, although I should mention that my hubby prefers to wear a Guinness rugby shirt! I do have a bias as I love nothing more than to slip into a pair of jeans and pull on a t-shirt, but the Guinness shirts in general seem to hold a huge appeal to a lot of people. I wonder what Arthur Guinness (the founder of the Guinness empire) would think of all of the Guinness clothing that's worn around the world if he were to be transported into the 21st Century? Arthur Guinness started brewing Guinness way back in 1759, he first exported it to England in 1769 and in the centuries since then Guinness has been exported around the world even as far away as Australia where it is enjoyed immensely. Guinness must surely be one of Ireland's most well known exports and in recent decades we've seen the Guinness name put to other things besides the creamy stout that made it world
